In March 2021 I had jaw surgery and for several weeks afterwards I was on a puree only diet while my jawbone healed. It was a challenge and I didn't find much helpful information online - most of it was about texture, not about taste. Through trial and error I learnt how to make a puree much more appetising, and I decided to make a zine to chronicle my efforts and exist as a resource for other people on puree only diets.
This zine is the guide I would give myself when discharged from the hospital.
